I have some cast ones I cast accuracy is superb and with a full case of triple 7 they run around 930 fps not so anemic as they were once thought to be.
I don't push em to hard to...
I use a 150 grain flat nose hollow base bullets. This allows the skirt to grip the rifle and reinstate solid accuracy.
I use all new starline brass and depending on customers need push the bullet with different powder

225 grain hollow base wadcutters. Found a good powder that shoots to point of aim and when turned around old school hollow point they become vicious.
I only use USA brands in my ammunition

Just ponderings of mine . Hel I wonder the same thing about the black powder cylinders. I figured a man such as yourself with experience in the 45 ACP opentop kirst platform would bring something to the table Numbers wise.

Smokeless and bp
This was a question I've been offering a long time.
The cylinder appears that it would easily hold +p though the BP revolver may or may not hold up long depending on tolerances etc ..
Anybody got any high standard to warm smokeless loads?
Triple 7 will push a 150 grain slug around 935 fps and keep the pressure low BUT the bore gwtj dirty as BP and rust quickly form when using BP substitu
