I have an 1858 pietta with an 8" barrel and a 45LC conversion cylinder. Not a concealed gun, but I can stay on a pie plate at 40 yards and could probably still hit anything at 60 yards. We have two Glocks and a p365 and I no where near have the confidence shooting them as I do with the single...

    Cast bullet lube?

I will not shake and bake powder coat unless the humidity is under 40%. Static is not generated in high humidity. I have also had some powders fail and I am not sure if they were packaged in high humidity or not. I bought Eastwood lime green and works great. Bought Grape and I can't get it to...

    Build a AR?

I had purchased two PSA Uppers and they work, but I have had trouble with both. First one was 556 and had some jamming occasionally. Second one was 6.8 SPC and that one would not cycle anything. Lyman brass dryer

I got an old Wesco dehydrator that I upgraded to a Meat one for jerky and still don't use it like this. The pins get "washed" every time I wash some cases. Little soap and a little lemon powder. Fluffed on a drying towel and laid on another get the water spots off the cases. That the worst...

    Lyman brass dryer

I just roll them around on a towel and dump them on a towel in the family basement floor to air dry. Works great with wood stove or air conditioning running. I would use the linked hydrator and not use it for food also. Also, y'all dry your pins also? I leave the lid off my tumbler and let them...

Make with with plywood and weld 1 1/2" EMT conduit to plates to attach to the table and use 1 1/4" EMT to slide into that and be the legs. I have been using fold up tables and lead sled or not, you just move...

    Shooting pure lead powder coated

I have a supply on the shelf running out, but I plan on mixing the first one when I can get some tin. I saved the below info and made a Excel sheet calculator to do the math. 91% pure lead, 9% tin leaves you with 10.5 bhn and water quenched maybe 14 or better. (to make 20# use 18.2# of lead and...
