GunnyUSMC got it right. It is from Unique ARs. Barrel is Bear Creek Arsenal,223 Wylde, all the lower parts are Nickle Boron. Wife picked out the Robin egg blue and gunmetal Cerakote by Wicked Water Graphics, here in Maine
I have RCBS powder measures which are essentially the same as Hornady. I run a baffle for most powders. Unique is one of the few that run like crap with a baffle, remembered that the other day. First time i used Unique in a while and it was metering like crap. Looked up and saw the baffle, took...
I have the Color case hardened, octagon barreled in 45 Colt. Great shooting rifle. Out of the box they tend to be stiff. Work the action for quite a while before doing any work to it if you choose. I have done springs and a bit of internal polishing on mine and it is a dream to shoot. Brass...
Not sure about the laws in your State, but here in Maine you CAN NOT have a loaded Rifle in a vehicle. That's why alot of folks will build a pistol AR for the "truck gun" purpose.
It may have something to do with consistency, with both State and National Parks. You must also have a CCW Permit to carry in a State park, and Open Carry is prohibited in State Parks, not sure about Acadia. It looks like the statue being sited is a Maine law for Acadia as well though.
Ok here is mine, built it when nothing for the 10/22TD existed. It has a McGowen Precision .920 bull barrel with target crown, The stock is a Boyds, when it arrived it was inlet for a .920 taper barrel so I had to rework the handguard portion of the stock so it would fit properly. Nikon 3-9 x 40...
Bishop out in CA has just finished up on a 458 SOCOM bolt gun. Not sure if that is the route you want to take. Plenty of projectile choices, 458 will run super or Subs. There are a number of choices for can manufacturers as well.

I use the wife option all the time. Not a straw purchase, just make sure she uses a credit card with her name on it. As in the previous post she must answer YES to first question!!!! As far as a UPIN goes the processing time is well over a year right now. Using the CCW as an alternative is not...
6 years ago I would get delayed 1 out of 4 purchases. Now I am almost guaranteed a delay every time. I have one right now. Initial check was on Friday at around 9:30 am. LGS has still not heard back. as far as time of day, SS or no SS, I have tried all the tricks and nothing makes a difference...
Correct no hard copy in the mail. I take all of mine and have a copy store do a 50% reduced color copy and have it laminated. The laminated copies are always in the range bag. I have a trust so everyone in the trust has a laminated copy of each stamp in their bag.
Nope can't do it. I'm up to 4 of em right now. Latest one is a 44mag Carbine model. Have a 45-70 Brass, Golden Boy in 22LR, and a Silver Boy in 17HMR. Next one will probably be a Big Boy in 357
Tromix is the way to go. If you do some research you will find that they are one of the few that actually have the correct reamers for 458. All the rest are reverse engineered, and you may or may not have issues with them. Tromix stands behind their product 100%
