Armored Farmer - I have bought, modified, and built flashlights for 25 years. Here's my suggestion...
The hardest criteria you listed was the 100+ yards requirement. That's a long ways away to light up something with a hand-held, portable light.
I don't think you really want - at least I don't...
Not far from there, 46+ years ago I got down on a knee and asked a lovely girl to be my wife. We've lived a blessed life ever since.
I've enjoyed your pictures of the area. We live in the Kansas City area now, but get back there to visit family every once in a while.
I contacted them a couple weeks ago. Had a local FFL mail it to them for me. (FFL wanted $20 to do so. Ruger wanted $40.) Got it back yesterday. Total turn around time was no more than two weeks. BTW - the return shipping was included in the cost.

Appreciate the help. I'll post a picture when I...
You may very well be right. I just looked up the serial number on the Ruger web site. 60-29XXX.
Thanks - the guy I bought it from told me about that. I'll have to learn how to load it.
Ha! I'm old enough to appreciate the "Grasshopper" reference! I will watch the video. Thank you!
