    I’m Scared (.22 Price)

I was badly burned in 2008/2009. So bad I was shooting Remington Mohawk .22 from 1974 (all I could find). I vowed that it would not happen ever again. Bought it cheap and stacked it deep. Spent more on Gladiator shelving that some do on guns. Filled them up.

What if an AK-47 chambered for the .223 Remington had existed in 1933?

"There’s other, deeper issues too. What if the Axis got hold of a cheap/easy to produce design like the AK-47 when Lend/Lease began, near the beginning of the war? What would have been the impact to Allied losses? What would have been the real impact to ammo consumption? Would such a rifle best...

What if an AK-47 chambered for the .223 Remington had existed in 1933?

"The AK-47 would have been far easier and cheaper to produce than the Garand." And OC was quoted as saying, "muh stopping power."

    Missing the Security-Six?

I have more than several. With all gun things retro being white hot now, I do not understand why Ruger does not produce a limited run of Security Sixes, but I understand that they would have to contract it out, machining and what not.

Did you shoot this Labor Day weekend? 9/2/2019? If so, what’d you shoot?

All day Saturday. Had to test fire SIG365s and 2 re-worked Smith M64s and a M28 from Boss Hoss. A buddy wanted to zero his Ruger MkIV 22/45. We then moved to rifle range to get a zero on his new-to-him AR and zero'd his optic. Weapon shot great, got it zero'd quickly and had fun.

    Question about Indiana

I find it amazing that the pre-2003 law is still in the rumor mill, but such is the gun culture. Rumors never die. Here's the ATFE letter to Indiana FFLs, September of 2003: https://www.atf.gov/file/83766/download

    Question about Indiana

No, all purchases from FFLs in Indiana go through NICS. Feds stopped recognizing Indiana's LTCH as a valid waiver in 2003 or so.

Yes, both national reciprocity and moving suppressors to Title I have a real chance of passing. National reciprocity is the death blow to the antis. Write your Senators and Congressman.

Back in the day, when you bought a gun ...

What's the margin on a new gun? Maybe 5%? The gun business is brutal and as people will use $40 in gas to save $10 on a Glock or Walther .22, I don't see how giving away stuff is conducive to staying in business. I don't think today's margins permit "free" ammo.
