I love it when shooting a 45.cal and there is no recoil at all. In fact most of them no matter what the caliber do not recoil. And those cupped grips drive me insane.
There is the way things should be and the way things are. Obviously most people have empathy for the homeless and manyy just got a bad turn in life. But on the flip side is that they can be very dangerous. Mental disorders, serious drug addiction, criminals on the run etc. High risk. I would...
Sheesh, look at all the dumb AS**'S walking around, pumping gas, crossing the road, and on and on with a cell phone. Stupid! Or the idiot that runs with ear buds and do not have a clue what is approaching. Virtually giving up all their natural senses that alert for danger. It is a chronic...
The Kahr 380 is quite capable of fast head shots at 15 yds. I assume you are speaking about your skill or dislike of the gun. For myself it would my Ruger Blackhawk 357 convertible. Do not get me wrong, I love the gun. But just spend so much time training with my carry guns. The gun deserves...
Don't forget the famous line from Breaker Morant when the firing squad was at the ready.
"Shoot straight Lads, Don't make a mess of it".
And for bonus, here is the Poem he wrote while waiting in the stockade before being shot.
Butchered to make a Dutchman's Holiday
In prison cell I sadly...
Obviously the future is changing fast. Yes, I may carry one of my other guns from the way things are going. On trips now I carry a gun with more capacity and a 20ga shotgun with a Pistol grip. But not because of tweaker's or just your general bad guy.
Getting ready to load up my range bag with my LCR22 and get my twice weekly shooting in. Hopefully make it back in one piece without getting ventilated by Tweakers with better skills than I have. Man,those guys are good. Fast to the draw, deadly accuracy and nerves of steel. And I guess that...
You posted a great Pic of her Farmer. Standing up in the tractor, ears alert, watching the field ready for any thing that pops up. I am sure she had a really good life and made you and your families life more enriched with her every day presence. Maybe at that age of 13, it was Gods will for her...
Well said mavracer. The scenarios on the internet just seem to keep growing more all the time. (By the way, I had my LCR9MM out the other day. I have not been shooting as often do conserving ammo, but just could not resist any longer the fun that comes with shooting that gun. 150 rds made for a...
Lol, sorry Dude, could not disagree with you more and again, stick with what you can do and leave others out of this. Do not pretend to know all of them. You do not.
Yes we have been over it many times and it is a matter of a persons ability with their own firearms. You really need to speak for YOURSELF. Please do not include me or others in your belief or personal view. Again, if you cannot, then that is fine.
I scored big with the Purchase of a Beretta Pico for $189.00. A gun that IMO is worth double the MSRP. I believe the sale was due to the color of the grip which was Robbins Egg blue. But I also wanted the grey receiver color and already had other color grips which I changed it out.
Placed...
Lol, I never once even thought of leaving the great single stacks. They are not just making a comeback they never went anywhere in the first place and manufacturers are not jumping on the band wagon to do anything but keep them. The idea that a gun is going to shoot as well, feel as good, etc...
Come on, that is not a unreasonable price at all for a LCR in todays market. Just a little above MSRP and where do you think you are going to find on in the first place. They are sold OUT every where I looked. Did a search and saw this even though they are out.
RUGER LCR
$799.99

I hear ya. I love loading up the Ruger LCR9mm with 40 moon clips the day before a range session. So easy to just put them in a bag and come home and empty them. Favorite plinker is the LCR 22, I seem to have no problem loading 8 rounds into the snubbie, but hate loading Magazines loading my new...
I got the bug at a early age. Dad was a career Marine and introduced to gun early. But on my 11th birthday received a Marlin Model 80 and that was the Rocket ship that sent me into the world of shooting. Must have dry fired that gun thousands of time, practicing breathing control etc. Many trips...
