I just purchased a Bergara b-14 wilderness ridge in .308 for my kiddos this hunting season. I'm looking to download my current recipe down a bit for them, even though the rifle has a factory muzzle brake on it. What are your recommended recipes? bullets? powders? Thanks in advance!! hvychev
I just bought a Bergara b-14 ridge wilderness. It only has one sling stud up front. Are there options/accessories that i can buy to have a sling + bipod attached? I really do not want to drill into the stock and put a second stud in. Thanks in advance!! Cheers!!
I just bought a S&W Jframe model 642 with crimson trace laser grips. Nice lightweight piece! What is the general consensus on iwb kydex holsters? Who makes the best one for this model... I've done a little reading on the world wide web, but figured i'd drop it here as i always get such good...
Y'all are all over this like a dirty shirt!! Yes, i am using RCBS dies, with the RCBS rings... and I have already went on Amazon and purchased a new set of Hornady lock rings to boot!! Thanks for all input folks... I did re-size a second 50 pcs. of brass yesterday after adjusting my die... and...
Thanks guys. This is kind of what i was thinking. I do have some tools to determine how much i'm bumping back the shoulder. Unfortunately, my lock ring slipped on my sizing die, and i thought i was good. I failed to chamber the empty brass to see how the bolt closed before sizing, trimming...
So, i reloaded some .308's today... No issues until i went to chamber a round in my rifle, and realized i probably should've turned my FL sizing die in about a quarter turn more. The bolt gets a little snug when closing. My question is are these rounds safe to shoot? Everything is trimmed and...
Thanks for the replies fellas. I figured that technology would continue to mitigate negative side effects from using these kind of bullets... Figured i'd put it out there to see what other folks weigh in with. Thanks for the feedback. Safe shooting!! Cheers.
Hi guys, i'm sure this has probably been beat to death already, but i'm not having much luck finding info. on moly coated bullets for handgun use. I'm wanting to load some for .357 mag and 45 acp. What's the general consensus? Good/Bad? Advantages and disadvantages? I did read something on line...
Wow! had no idea I would get so much detail. thanks. what about buying lead bullets? i do not intend on making my own. Suggestions on brand and weight?
Hi folks, i'm getting ready to start reloading 357 mag. I load for 44 mag with Alliant 2400 and will be using the same powder for 357. I load jacketed bullets for the 44 since i use the gun for hunting deer with.
Now, i'll probably be loading the 357 with lead. Should I use gas checked bullets...
i'd say it's going to be in the $450 range....i can't remember what msrp is but, the lgs says that's around what they will sell for in my area when they can get them.
Yeah, I've read a lot of complaints on line about the M&P triggers, and how they're not crisp, as you say, squishy. I wouldn't let it stop me from buying one as there are aftermarket replacements, or will be at some point for that particular model. Either way, sounds like they're at least...
"just curious for some comments on it", pretty much was an invitation to contrast the two, logically speaking.
Not really, "comments on it" is specific to the title of the post, not a request to debate 9mm vs. 45.
We can do this all day long if you'd like...it's just common courtesy to take...
We all have different reasons for wanting one. The reason i want one, is simply because i want one....no more, no less. I already have/had multiple single stack 9mm, i also reload 45 caliber and think it would be fun. There are some folks that like to feel that 'bump' when squeezing the...
So I got my pistol back today and so far it has ran smooth as silk. I ran WWB, reloads, and some Hornady critical defense ammo without any issues at all. Kahr replaced the barrel as the chamber was under sized. all in all I am pleased. Thanks for the input folks!
I have had the unloading issue happen with WWB, Hornady critical defense, and with reloads. Plus it's failed to go into battery with all 3 as well. I'm thinking a really tight chamber? Gun is to be returned this week on their dime so, we’ll see what they uncover.
I purchased a new CW45 about a month or so ago, ran almost 300 rounds through it and am having some issues with the gun not going back fully into battery. It's pretty much been this way right out of the box. Also, if there is a round chambered, you have to discharge the weapon to unload...
