I shoot steel ammo out of my DW all of the time... I really don't see the problem with it at all. What gripe do people have with shooting steel ammo? Is it harder on the gun? Not as accurate? I’m interested to know....even though it wont change my practice at all. I don’t put premium gas in my...
Otto Matyska of ottocomp in Afton is who I've been sending my stuff to. Hes a real nice guy who does great work quickly for a reasonable price. It's not a retail store...more of a smoke filled bunker....He builds custom guns too. I recomend him (google his name too, many other satisfied people).
I also disagree. It's a common misconception that this gun is difficult to service. It's perpetuated by people who dont care to read or take the time to learn how to do something. Not trying to be a jerk, just calling it as it is.
Im not saying anything bad on you. All I'm saying is that you...
I've fired a 125gr jhp 357mag indoors with no hearing protection. It was a very confined space. It was a jolt to the system and my ears were rining...but my hearing returned to 'normal' relatively quickly. No blown eardrums here.
I really like Spyderco products. They are reasonably priced (if you dont pay MSRP on them) and are quality knives.
I carry an Atlantic Salt clipped/ tethered to my harness when I go Kiteboarding... just incase I get snared in my lines and I might drowned. The knife is constantly submerged in...
....357 mag was discharged. I did not have hearing protection on. Sure my ears rang for a bit, but hearing returned to normal quite quickly with no *apparent* lasting effects. Hearing was intact the ENTIRE time. No bleeding. Just saying.
Would I want to experience that again? Obviously not...
Not sure why. As a left hander who trained to shoot right handed (left as well) I hate ambi safeties on 1911s. I recently picked up a kimber CDP that came stock with ambi safeties....I have every intention of removing them once I get the time in the near future.

-That whole package in in 2010 dollars would cost you $2595
-Median household income for 2008= $52,029

Good advice. Anytime I visit a pawn shop I carefully watch what people are bringing in/ out. Only one time have I seen someone bringing in guns. I approached the couple as they were about to enter the shop (with several guns in hand!!!) and asked if they wanted to sell any. Told them I had cash...
I buy new and used. Like what was said before, guns don't depreciate in value all that much. I have found many instances where a well used firearm was being sold for a price that was only slightly cheaper than a new one. So I'd get a new one if thats the case.
My best deal so far was a nearly...
