    Ginex LRP

I bought 5k Ginex LRP during the most recent price dip and have use a few hundred in .308 and 460 S&W. They all went bang in my S&W revolver and my bolt rifles. The Taurus 460 will not light them reliably but will if I used Winchester LRP. I have not seen any WRE LRP in my area.

    Hornady LeverEvolution powder

Alliant may be the canary in the coal mine. I am planning to swing by one of my locals later this week to inquire about 8# of Bullseye that I passed on earlier. The price was just ok but I can use it in almost everything I load.

    Taurus 445 44spl

I found two recently completed auctions on GB. One was an Ultra-Lite that went for $499 with a single bid. The other was a stainless that failed to get any bids with a starting price of $449.

    Taurus 445 44spl

I have the stainless version that I picked up used and it has been trouble free so far. Someone did a WECSOG bob job on the hammer but I was able to source a replacement that dropped right in. Unlike more recent specimens, the barrel ports are not inset so the front sight gets blackened as I...

    Inverted Anvil

I pick up any unfired rounds I find at my local range and salvage the brass/primer. Most of them have either light strikes or no strikes at all; however, in this case the primer had what appeared to be a good dimple. When I pulled it apart, I was surprised to find that the anvil was upside down...

Let's see carbines in pistol cartridges.

Ruger 44 Mag Carbine. The S/N indicates that it was made 1969-1970.

Issues with the Browning 1955 Model 380

Glad it was useful. I discovered when searching for a replacement stock for a Ruger RSM that rooting around in the dusty corners occasionally yields dividends. They also have the nickel version if you want to bling up your 1910: https://www.gunpartscorp.com/products/2107330

Issues with the Browning 1955 Model 380

Not being familiar with the pistol or part, I did a search to get an idea of what it looks like. The results looked suspiciously like a "not illustrated" part on Numrich's website: https://www.gunpartscorp.com/products/491980 Is this the animal in question?

    What's a good plinker 9mm?

I have the Alfa Proj and the Taurus snub. The Alfa Proj has a decent SA trigger but the DA is pretty stout. When I first got it, it spit lead and ended up having to go back to the factory for the barrel cylinder alignment. I have tried several powder/bullet combinations and it still "patterns"...

Show me your old single stack STI 1911s

Trojan (9mm), Spartan (45 ACP), Duty One (40 S&W), and Lawman (45 ACP). The Duty One and Lawman are unfired. The Spartan is wearing a set of Simonich Gunner Grips that I got not long before he passed.

    X-Treme Bullets?

I recently bought 1K of them to use in my Blackhawk. They are of good quality and I would buy them again if the price was right. I am still working on finding a load with them that the BH likes. I have tested Titegroup as well as HP-38 and plan to test Universal next. I found some coated ones...

    Moonclip Loaders and Unloaders?

I have both and the BMT tool is pretty slick. It does make loading/unloading moonclips very easy. One benefit I found with the TK Custom tool is the ability to support multiple firearms just by changing the mandrel (~$13 + S&H).

    CH4D Powder Bushing Volumes

I recently decided to purchase a complete set of powder bushings for my push button powder measure: https://chtoolanddie.com/products/powder/pbpm I figured it would be a good choice for whipping up blasting ammo and I would not have to futz with setting/resetting one of my adjustable ones...

    Vintage handloading items, picture thread.

Stopped in at a local spot that has an eclectic mix of stuff looking for a Lee hand press I thought I saw before. Didn't find it but did stumble upon this old powder measure: It appears complete. It has a "Flex-ring" that supposedly eliminates powder cutting. Sounds a lot like the Lee PPM. The...

    Powder measures

My Lee PPM mainly gets used when I am loading with 700-X or 5744. I have one from CH4D and am happy with it: https://chtoolanddie.com/products/powder/502 I also have an RCBS Uniflow II that I got used. It has performed well so far.

Where are Reloading Components Available/On Sale (Not a Discussion Thread, Link Required)

Scheels has 15% off of in-stock reloading components. The price reduction appears to be reflected on their site: https://www.scheels.com/c/reloading-primers https://www.scheels.com/c/powder-handling I picked up 4# of Titegroup for ~$100 and a brick of CCI 400s for $59.50 from the one in The...
