I'd like to get a pair of those Oakleys, but I'm not going to spend $150 on a pair of boots I haven't tried on at all. If I buy them on ebay, I can't exactly return them if they don't fit. The price for them directly from Oakley is a bit too high for me. :(
I don't know about OC, but I pass through a DL checkpoint at least once a month here in SB. I don't mind them too much because I always see them towing a few cars, and the fewer unlicenensed drivers on the road the better. I know that they are run by the DUI task force, so they probably skirt...
Cold steel's stuff is pretty overpriced from the factory. Even my local ripoff knive store that horribly overcharges for stuff has cold steel knives cheaper than the factory. Don't let the prices on ebay scare you.
I was just at the cold steel parking lot sale, and while I was there I got...
I'm going to be going on a vacation to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico in less than a month. Does anyone know if I'll have any problems bringing my sharp little friends into the country and carrying them around? I'd hate to get a nice blade confiscated.
I fondled a few different sebenzas yesterday, and I think if money was no object, I'd get a damascus classic large with leather inlays. Fondling them only made me want a sebbie more, so I'll probably end up with a plain regular large, because cheaper is better right now.
I'd think twice before carrying any knife on school grounds, at any time. (not to say I didn't when I was in high school, but I was aware of the consequences). Even if it is technically OK under state law, most schools Zero Tolerance policies apply whether school is in session or not. I had a...
The exact same thing happened to me when I got my CZ75b. I loaded it up with cor-bon +p 115gr HPs and the first round I chambered wouldn't extract. I field stripped it (carefully) and took out the barrel. I was then able to finesse the lodged round out. When I got to the range, I fired a...
Heh, I'm the exact opposite. With a Surefire + 2 folders, I've got enough stuff clipped around. Since my county is not nearly as cool as yours, ;) the only thing I have on my belt is the leatherman. Lemme know when you get the Charge XTi, and I'll take the holster off your hands. I probably...
I'm gonna be boring and go with the crowd, 1911 and an AR-15 with various uppers (assuming that CA's laws don't apply anymore). If I was bound by CA's laws, I'd replace the AR-15 with a Springfield m25.
...No real details, but at least you can see the differences. I wish I could mix and match between the Ti and XTi. I'd like the head and serrated blade with hook on the XTi, but I've got to have the scissors.
I was just going to buy a blade-tech holster for my Wave, and now I see this. *sigh*
The wave weighs 8 ounces, I doubt an extra .3 ounces would be noticable.
EDIT: After looking around on the Leatherman site, looks like I'd have to get the Charge Ti instead of the XTi, because scissors are a must for me. No blasting cap crimper for me! ;)
