I'm a recent convert. Bought my first 10mm, a Glock 20, in January of this year and now have 9 different pistols chambered in 10mm.
I don't think that the 10mm will ever become a mainstream caliber, but I do believe it is experiencing a resurgence of some extent. I frequent 6 boards and the...
There are a couple up around Greenville. It may be a little bit of a drive, but there is a lot less traffic coming this direction. One is in Cumby and the other is between Wolfe City and Greenville.
After seeing those Razorbacks.... I guess I'm going to have to break down and order one for myself!
Let's see some more pics of those tens'!
I'll add a couple pics of my favorites:
Colt Delta Elite
Kimber Eclipse 10mm
From what I have read, the Double Eagle is the least desirable of the Colt 10mm's and usually go for around $500 - $600.
I spent the extra money and picked up a Delta Elite 10mm instead.
Another Witness Match in 10mm here!
I was a little skeptical when I bought it, but it's been a great gun for the money. After fixing the problem with the follower on one of my mags, I've put several hundred rounds down range without a single failure.
It's one of my favorite 10's.
The 10mm Smith's have been going up in price lately, so I'd say if it's in real good condition, $499 isn't bad.
I recently paid $525 for my 1006.
These things are built like tanks!
I've got a Witness Match in 10mm.
When I picked it up from the dealer, the magazine seemed to only hold 10 rounds and I put 20 rounds through the gun with a failure to feed around the 3rd round both times. Did a little research and found a post where someone had the same problem. I took the...
Unfortunately, I also bought a Kimber Ultra Carry II soon afterwards which was also a 3" model and it never hicuped with over 600 rounds thru it, so I really was too frustrated to mess with the RIA.
I may buy another one to tinker with since they are inexpensive for a 1911.
Southpaw... I've got 2 of the Kimber mags and both work great in my gun. I agree that it is one fine looking pistol, but the finish is pretty delicate and probably would not hold up well to holstering. Mine stays in the safe too much as well since I have 6 other 10mm's to play with.
I've got a Kimber Eclipse in 10mm and it's been flawless so far.
I've only run about 300 rounds through it since 10mm ammo isn't cheap and I haven't started reloading yet, but it has fed, fired, and ejected every time.
I'd check out 10mmtalk for more reviews.
