Had an all day outing with a few guys from work, shot my Ruger PC Charger, 6.5 CRED, two different 9mm pistols over a 4 hour period. Got to take the 6.5 CRED out to 400 yards on some steel prairie dog targets. Came home had a few adult beverages, son is home from college this weekend, so we...
Took my dad to shooting club that I’m a member of this afternoon for a little pistol shooting, had a good time, it was a beautiful day.
After we were done shooting pistol, I went over to the rifle range to test some loads I made for the 6.5CM.
My measurements say .255in 3 shot groups at...
My reloading room is in a climate controlled oversized utility room in my basement. The floor drain backed up this afternoon so I had to play plumber 👎
Finished tumbling a bunch of 9mm range pick up’s from my last visit.
I was there testing out some new .45 + 9mm loads I made, collected all my cases, it was a super warm day out, so decided to hunt for some extra brass to load.
Made a trip to Scheels today to spend some Christmas cash:
- Two Dillon stands for tool heads
- Horandy reloading manual
After that, I stopped by Cabalas on my way home and bought a Holosun HS-507K X2 red dot for my Ruger MAX9.
It was a pretty good day! 😁
1-cavediver: Can you please clarify whether you were referring to H4831 or H4831sc? I have a .270 I’m loading for, but haven’t tried either of those yet. H4831 seems hard to find , but I am seeing some availability for H4831sc.
Bought another case guage, 1 pounder of H4350, a brick of primers, and a plastic powder charge knob from Inline Fabrication for my Dillon powder measure.
Just finished 1000 give or take .223, now it’s on to 892 pieces of 9mm brass.
After that I’ve got 6.5, .40, and .45 waiting on me. Not a ton of any of those, but got enough to keep me busy for awhile.
Wife and I stopped by the local Scheels in KC this evening after dinner. When we go in, she goes to the women’s section and I head straight to the reloading section. :)
Saw the new Frankford press on display. Was recently put up because I was just there 2 weeks ago and they didn’t have it on...
Scored 2k CCI small pistol primers at Scheels on SAT this weekend!! Had to pay $84.99 a box, but at least I got to avoid HAZMAT
I got lucky, because I had to go back to Scheels for something else on Sunday, and I just had to buy 2k more:)
