This is my favorite. When I bought it I had trouble hitting the target. After a trip to a smith, with the mag safety removed and the sights properly zeroed it shoots like a dream.
Thanks, I got the new parts from Lee today. I tried removing the shell holder and installing the primer part through the top of the ram. It bounced out on the second stroke of the ram. I put some break free on it and it worked great. I had cleaned the ram and other parts with gun scrubber. I...
I have the delux. The part slips down in a slot in the ram, over a retaining pin of sorts. It is below the shell holder. It swings in and out as the ram goes up and down. Sometimes when the ram goes up it decides to take a trip to the ground.
Kind of hard to make it go up and down with duct tape around it. I suspect cleaning more often and lubrication may help. What do you think? I thought I had been cleaning it enough.
I'm having a great time with my new turret press. There has been one problem so far, the priming tool falls off the press and on to the floor. This last time the primer cup must have bent so that a primer will no longer fit in it. I tried rounding it out, but to no avail. Lee said to send it...

Designed to be mounted on the Lee Pro-1000 and Loadmaster presses with Lee powder-through expander dies. Not Designed for Single Stage or Turret Presses
and yes I will be using the safety prime system...
I have been using a Lee single stage press for about 10 years now. I wanted to move to a faster system...not a dillon 550, a great one, but one closer to my needs. I have all Lee dies so I decided to stick with them. I bought the turret press kit, even though it included a lee powder scale...
I have Hochheim Praire Farm Mutual Insurance Association. I had to list each firearm, serial number and value for a rider on my policy. I like them. John

but if you want to hunt (besides doves), you'd better be a rich man. Very little public land and what there is is very overcrowded. Corporate leases have destroyed hunting...
home range
A rifle company by me has a 100 yard range that I really like. They have 100 yards of cement pipe that has to be about 8 feet in diameter buried next to their shop. Use pulleys and cables to move target to desired distance. Backstop is also underground. I am sure they have...
I have the ultra compact v10. Yes, it has the 10 ports on the barrel and it is a great shooter. It is a lot of fun when the wind is not blowing towards your face :)
