I realized that my friend Ha Ha has installed small pistol primers in 223 brass.
Only primers have been installed, so they can be removed.
What would happen if used.
The reason I brought this up as a local gunsmith advised me that sig would not return the gun if I were to send t in for trigger work.
I have been told by several people that the pistol was on a list since it was made in west germany
I purchased a sig p226 in the 80's, I live in calif. I was told that it is illegal to own this pistol.
Is this true and if so why?
The pistol was made in west Germany would that have any bearing on this issue?
I have a BCG jam forward, not sure what to do. I live in calif so I cannot walk out to the back yard and start slamming the rifle to loosen.

I have a 1911 Springfield armory. I have owned this pistol for several yrs.
Last round in every mag either jams or is laying loos in the chamber.
Reloads or factory and different mags the same result.
Any ideas.... Will probably take it to a gunsmith.
Thanks I appreciate the response.
I am beginning to think from what I observed most of the members are form Midwest or the east.
Then why is it so hard to find components out here?
I have been using a 550B since late 80s, never had a serious problem with primer feed. I have talked with folks who have and it seems like the primer pocket needs to be adjusted so it doesn't hit that plastic tip. The tip will bend and then there is primer feed problems.
I hope u heal quick...
