Some new posts on Gun Owners for Bostic including an update on South Carolina's new bill to allow concealed carry in alcohol serving restaurants.
Please go there and give the page a "Like" even if you aren't in South Carolina.
Thanks!
...2a. I'm sure some of them really are and some have to have that as their platform to get elected. I don't personally know about Ray Nash, but I *do* personally know about Curtis. Like I posted above, I've shot with him, seen his gun collection, know that he is a concealed carry citizen...
This race has many candidates. We need to get ahead of the pack as much as possible. Please go to Charleston County GOP Website and vote for Curtis in the straw poll on the right hand side of the page!
Thanks!!
That's correct. Curtis is running for the recently vacated seat. In fact, Curtis's son, Daniel, was a staffer for Tim Scott at DC first then at his home office in Charleston.
My family and I are huge Tim Scott fans and hope to see his seat filled by another pro gun candidate.
Fellow South Carolinians,
As you know, Tim Scott is now in the Senate and there is a special election for his Congressional Seat. Please check out my good friend, Curtis Bostic. He is a former Marine and is strong on 2nd Amendment rights--we have a pumpkin shoot on his property every year...
Thanks, I had to travel to San Diego the next day after the original post. By the end of that day my skin was feeling back to normal. So I'll keep my guns, SharpsDressedMan! :D
So I cleaned two of my guns Saturday night and watched a movie at the same time. While paying more attention to movie than dipping a swab, I accidentally put most of my Hoppe's No. 9 outside of my Hoppe's No. 9 bottle. :banghead: Thankfully I was working on an absorbant mat that caught a lot...
Lee,
Sorry if I mislead you. As Mr_Rogers guessed, this would not be us offering training to anyone. It would be us "training" ourselves, so to speak. An "advanced range" is probably a better term.
This is not on my land, but a friends. He had the idea and asked what I thought and if...
A couple of guys and I are considering building a training course. Here are our objectives:
1) Mostly for pistols; would be nice to be able to use carbines as well
2) More for "real world" practice than for competition
3) Configurable so that it is not the same thing all of the time
4)...
A different co-worker of mine got pulled over in N. Charleston for having his high beams on and not dimming them (at 5:00 in the evening--still lots of sun now that it is daylight savings time). Anyways, he lets the officer know that there is a pistol in the center console (he doesn't have a...
Hey, a co-worker just had 250 rnds of 45 ACP delivered from Bass Pro Shops. He thinks the box was dropped/slammed b/c some of the rounds on the end are shorter than the other rounds. He did a diameter check, and they still fit the chamber. Are these rounds (presummably with the bullet shoved...
The best buy I could find for ammo (5.56) came on stripper clips. The ammo arrived today and looks good (I hope to shoot some soon). I'm new to stripper clips. I saw the small metal tab and bent it down. Is there some other trick to get the rounds to come out and into the magazine easy? Or...
I don't think this qualifies as stealing. You told the guys what kind of gun it was. If you want to really clear your conscience, tell the manager that you suspect that it may be a different gun. If he disagrees, who are you to ask to pay more? In fact, I think it is perfectly okay to ask to...
Hey guys,
Can you help me out? I've got an AR 180B chambered in 5.56 NATO. I've yet to fire the thing for a number of reasons, but mainly because I'm ammo confused.
Here's what I know. I can shoot both 5.56 and .223 (because it is chambered in 5.56--if it were .223 I could not due to...
