That's a cunundrum right there. I know people in IL who think it's illegal to even own a firearm in IL because of the stupid FOID thing. Very confusing to common folk but I guess thats how they(IL politicians[voters?]) want it.
Yes, yes it does. I try to stay away from there. I can own anything in IN as well as a Lifetime LTCH permit. KY will honor my permit and I believe OH will as well. I actually do more outdoors activities in KY than IL for that reason.
It already makes the news here. Stan at Rajo's already admitted his suppliers are running out and he cant keep ammo or handguns in stock, no matter how many he buys. He said less hunting rifles are being sold. People are holding on to the long guns that they have and are buying handguns. Sales...
Hah...I saw someone at the Fall Festival wearing a "Party like a Barack Star" shirt. It took me a second to 'get it'. I felt like shooting that moron with a BB gun. Funny thing, I doubt that guy will even go vote.
Honestly, lets just vote a real Rock Star in as president and be done with it...
I've re-enacted as well and that is one heck of a coincidence to get shot by someone not re-enacting! The most common (still very rare) accidents with projectiles is usually a ram rod getting left in the barrel and fired out.
Most units train to fire above the heads or won't even allow rods...
Same here. If a guest is welcome in my house, it's because I trust them and they all own firearms as well. I'm the safety freak of the group unless it involves holding a beer and watching :). If someone new is over, all firearms are locked up except my carry piece (which is on or VERY near me).
You know, since you bring it up, I've always wondered if ISP (Indiana) has a a database that brings up permit holders? They are the ones who issue the LTCH, after all.
However, I've never been questioned about a weapon during a stop and I've never volunteered it. The officer and I just part...
Yes, I have found rifle rounds near or above .223 to be highly effective at turning a vehicle into swiss. 7.62x39 in full-auto is devastating. I can fully understand how 2 gunman could easily kill every occupant in an average vehicle(ala ambushes in Middle East).
The way you describe your location, I assume you live in a rural area where shooting is GTG. That would be the only issue I see and, if it's like IN, you can shoot outside of most municipalities .
As far as the BG's, good job!! If I caught strangers pushing in a door of a building on my...
