I have to admit, I'm a little confused (that's SOP) - Of course you had to verify your ID, but did they make any sort of issue with your state of residence?
Here's my point; as y'all know that particular rifle is considered super duper naughty her in Cali; if you had still been a resident in...
...for T&E, maintenance, etc.
No dice, they turned me down flat with a "insufficient good cause". That pretty much told me that there literally was *no* good cause statement that they would accept.
Then in July 1999 a dumba** punk kid that had decided that life was unfair attempted a take...
...built.
My are bolted down pretty solid and my garage door, when open, doesn't face the street.
Unfortunately, no free outlets in that corner so I went with desiccant for my safes. I should amend that to say, that since I'm almost *on* the beach, it's actually a whole heck of a lot of desiccant.
Yup; Kershaw has great CS; I bent the belt clip on my Blur (sitting in my car the seatbelt slipped under the clip and when I exited... SPROING.) I emailed them to find out what size torx screws they used and the very nice lady from customer service volunteered to sent me a new clip and screws...

Nope, it's just tilted, like 95% of all semi-automatic handguns out there it uses a tilting barrel...
...is for this to just be a little insight into what is otherwise a mysterious and unknown process for most Californian's. I don't want to get into *how exactly* I qualified for a CCW, nor do I want to go into my justification statement. Suffice to say that my process for the original issuance...
...The "101 California massacre" was a factor in the Clinton 1994 Federal AW ban, but as far as I know had nothing to do with Winchester pulling BTs from the shelves. They *did* stop selling to the public, but it was for touchy feely fuzzy PR reasons and not related to any incident in particular.
Lyman!
Seriously the probably make exactly what you're looking for; I have a set on my Marlin 1894 Cowboy and I just love em' - a set of 66 rear aperture coupled with a 93 front globe sight.
Tang sights as well. Take a look.
I say leave it if you can. I covered mine in 100 mph tape to silence the rattle. It clears my light and that way if my side sling adapter ever goes TU I can adjust on the fly to the stock sling swivel.
