I have shot and handled many 1911s in my day, and the RIA performed as flawlessly as the Soringfields, Smiths, Sigs, and others I have had the pleasure to fire. The only advice I can shre is if you like it, if it feels great to you, you are the one paying for it and shooting it so make yourself...
I have looked at the Geisseles, and they seem to be excellent, but costly. I have been successful with standard AR triggers...I shot a wild turkey with my Sweet 16 and I killed a spike with a 450 Bushmaster that I sold for the 6.5 Grendel. I didn't realize that you could do any work on the...
I own a DPMS Sweet 16 AR15 that I target shoot and hunt coyotes with. I also use the same lower with an Alexander Arms 20" 6.5 Grendel upper for hunting. What is the best choice to upgrade my trigger...it is currently the stock trigger from the sweet 16. I prefer a single stage trigger. What do...
I bought an Alexander Arms 6.5 Grendel 20" upper that I use on my DPMS lower. It is a sweet shooter than I am taking for Antelope in the fall then whitetails!!! Very accurate, plenty of range...
I bought a XD 40 Tactical when they were first being sold. I loved it, but traded for the XD45 tactical when they were first available. This fall, I traded the tactical 45 for the XDm 45 Competition and then bought the XDs...these are all excellent guns that do their job over and over. Reliable...
Xdm 45
I have owned a Sig 220, and was not all that impressed. I have shot and shot and shot my XD Tactical 45 and loved it. Just sold it for a new XDM 45 5.25 competition model...can't wait until it gets here. The XD is such a sweet shooter, can't go wrong with SA.
You can use a holster for a Glock 19, thats what fit mine...!! I sold mine for a Lightweight Champion Operator, though, and as much as I loved the Baby Eagle 9, This 1911 is too sweet to look back! No info about grips, though. Sorry, I had the same problem!! You can find some wood grips on...
Where should I start?
Ruger...I bought a brand new MKIII Hunter that had scratches all over the cocobolo grips. I called them, and they told me that there was no way that the gun was "Brand New" because according to the SN, it was made 2 years prior. They told me the grips were my problem...
I have the turkey model Pardner, and it does kick hard!! I have the same shell holder, and it works great on it. I did buy a high quality recoil pad, and it helped some. If you have the real small fore-end, you might want to replace it with the larger synthetic one, or a larger wood one. I...
Of course, Dirty Harry...but what stands out in this picture to me is the picture of the Winchester Compound bow...are they making them now??? I sure didn't know anything about it!
DubbleA is right...reaching the charging handles is not too difficult, but getting a great sight picture is without the high mount. It sure shoots great like this!!
Ok
So, since I don't have any pictures of my rifles and pistols in combo, here are some I recently took of rifles separately and pistols separately...enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!
