I ordered the #10 Rem caps online for $3 a tin. When I got them I noticed the foil covering the primer stuff, they go bang fine but the dia. is bigger than the new #10's so they're loose on my nips.
The Silx-shot nipples have two side blow holes in them that blows the the caps off pretty much every time. Don't have to pry the caps off. This is on my 44 Pietta.
The new slix-shot nipples with Rem #10 or #11 work great on a 58 Pietta. Seems like the #11's are a little shorter than the #10's. They're right at $40 shipped.
I'm shooting a Pieta 44 and using Rem #10 or#11 caps with the Slixshot nips. Caps fit snug vs the stock nips and it has never jammed. A friend I shoot with has a Spanish 70's 44 and he's using the nips also with no problems.

I forgot to mention I ordered them from 3rd Gen shooting Supply. I ordered them on Aug 27th and they said it may take several weeks becuase of the Haz-mat fee.
I ordered 1000 #11 Rem rifle caps from them and I got a shipping notice that they'll be here Wed. Works out to $6.50 per tin. I'll let you know if they are BP caps.
That's exactly what happened. I have been smoking the mould too. My lead temp is around 800*. No more lubing it up with beeswax too. I"ll leave the last ball in too. Thanks for the help guys!!
I'm not using any mold release agents. The lines are'nt at the parting line. I do use beeswax at the end of the casting session to coat everything. The pot temp is about 800*. I was looking for an easier way to clean the moulds faster. Thanks for the help so far. PS I might try the toothbrush...
