I'm thinking of getting a S&W 686 ( 4")revolver. Is there any draw back to the 7 shot as opposed to the 6 shot model ? Also which wood grips do you like? Thanks for yoru input.
I just got the Henry lever action lr22 - basic model for Christmas. So far I really like it. Took it to the range and had lots of fun... it was accurate and easy to use. For now I won't spend twice the money for the Browning or Marlin - maybe someday!
What rifle do you recommend for a newbie in IDPA 3 gun matches. And this is for California so I know the choices are somewhat limited. Looking for something not too expensive to start out with. Thanks - and this is for a 5'6" female so nothing too huge.
OK, I'm thinking of getting a lever action 22 rifle. I'm impressed with the Browning BL22 but the price tag is a little high. Any thoughts on the Henry lever action 22's - especially the youth model. I'm looking for a fun rifle for me (not very tall gal) and something I can get new shooters...
Anyone have the Browning 22LR lever action rifle? If yes do you recommend it for a fun, easy to shoot and maintain rifle? ( I can take apart and reassemble a Ruger Mark II without too much trouble - would this mean that if I follow the manual I can handle the Browning's lever action as well?)...
I had a similar problem with a sig 228. Turned out it needed to have a little more oil on the slide - one of the guys I shoot with said I was running it too dry. Also I tested it with a little hotter ammo and that worked as well. Hope that helps. Good luck.
I'm looking for recommendations/opinions for a 9mm carbine to be used for 3 gun matches and indoor range use. I'm thinking of either the Ruger PC9 or Beretta Storm. I'm a lefty, too and I understand the Beretta can be set up for us southpaws. thanks
Say, I just got a used Sig 228. Love it but the slide doesn't lock back after the last round. don't think I'm limp wristing it - no problems with all my other semi-autos. Any ideas out there?
thanks.
