    45ACP pistol or 9mm against bears and hogs

    I'm not a ballistics expert but I could believe that a 9mm could stop a bear. But when a bear charges at you, I don't think that cartridge would be enough to slow it down or deter it. The .45 may be a better choice but maybe not too much better. Yeah, go with the 500.

    My HK's do that: usp compact and usp tactical 45. But you've got to insert it with constitution lol. I haven't tried it with my 1911, but.. I don't plan on it.
