Trigger repair on Mossberg 472 .30-30?

There is a youtube video that shows how to take the gun apart. You can open the lever and push the strut with a screw driver to release the hammer. There are not a lot of moving parts in the gun, wonder if its really gummed up? Let me know if its for sale. I have its brother in 35 Remington...

Has anyone fired the new 22 TCM Rock Island yet?

I'm interested in it due to the hardship of finding 22lr ammo. This cartridge is reloadable and can fit the gap for a 22 caliber cartridge.

Double action revolver for rimless cartridges like .40 and .45

I shoot a lot of 40 S&W and like you reload also. I wanted a revolver in this caliber and bought a Charter Arms Pitbull with the 5" barrel. Granted it is not a S&W, Colt, or other creme of the crop revolver it does get the job done. I just plain could not afford the S&W or even find one in 40...

Any Charter Arms fans out there?

I bought a Pitbull in 40 S&W with a 5" barrel. I really like it. It handles well and is fun to shoot. The 40 has a snappy kick to it, more than 38 but not as much as a 357. The non-moon clip system works well. This compliments my Mechtech Carbine.

Went to buy a holographic site but came home with a Mini 14

I finally bought a Mini 14 Ranch Rifle from a friend who needed some money. He never shot it. It had the awful plastic Sparta stock on it. I put the original wood back on it and sold the Sparta stock. This one will do about a 3" group at 100 yards from the bench. Thats with the factory peep...

Why Arent 9mm Revolvers More Popular?

I have the 9mm revolvers big brother, a 40 S&W revolver from Charter Arms. I ordered directly from the factory and requested a 5" barrel. It is nice for its price range. I carry it when I hog hunt with my 40 caliber Glock carbine.

Is the pistol-caliber carbine/sub-gun functionally obsolete?

I have a Mechtech upper on a Glock 22 lower that is my 40 S&W carbine. I like it a lot. I can get decent groups at 100 yards, 2-3 inches off the bench. I bought a Charter Arms Pitbull in 40 S&W with a 5" barrel to go with it when I go hog hunting. I have another Glock 22 and a 27 I could use...

    Police issued .41 magnums

I worked for the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office in the 80's. We were allowed to carry 44 mags and under. In those days we had to buy our own guns. Many carried 41 & 44 mags. I carried a 45 auto.

    Marlin mod 60 problem

If I remember correct, your model 60 is only supposed to have 1 recoil spring for the guide rod. The flared or nipple portion of the guide rod goes into the hole at the top of the receiver. For tons of model 60 info try rimfirecentral.com, look at the stickies for the model 60.

    new to reloading, help please.

You may want to start with the Lee Loader, as it is simple and inexpensive. This will work if you are starting out as you say with 30-50 rounds a week or so. Less than 10 bucks off of ebay. You may be able to use the same powder for the .223 & 7.62 x 39. I don't know, check a manual or on-line...
