I know you asked about the .243 but have you considered the 7mm-08? This cartridge can do everything the 243 can do and more. I rate it highly and if i was in your shoes i'd give it serious consideration.
I have a redding Big Boss II and I absolutely love it. For all the same reasons as previously mentioned. Solid as a rock and primers don't go anywhere.
I also have a Hornady LNL conversion in mine too. Wouldn't really say it's worth it unless you have a Hornady press aswell. I've got an LNL AP

I'm glad they have good customer service it seem most of the reloading companies over there do. unfortunately customer service is somewhat a thing of the past over here in Australia it's in the museum next to the dinosaurs.

Yeah, I have instructions I dabbled with the right pawl thinking that might be the cause i adjusted it up and it made no difference so i returned it to it's origonal settings for fear of making the problem worse. But maybe i'll have another go. It seems to only do it when the right pawl hits one...
Yeah I did both those things i used a little gun grease on the ball detents and I only tightened the bolt until it indexed like the guy in the video did.

I know this thread is a little old. But i have some questions i have a manual RCBS case trimmer. And well my cases are varying in length about .005" or so. Is this about standard for a manual case trimmer or do you guys have some suggestions that would make my cutting more uniform?
