    mnrivrat - thanks, I take it you were correct since no one piped in afterwards. Amazing a gun can see 37 years of good use and come off with no rust, even under the handle. The previous owner was a good caretaker, but the gun has seen a handful of owners, and it's never been a trophy piece.

    a) 38 SPL b) 4" c) Square d) 6 e) Front is fixed. Rear? Not sure. Screws on both side of the mount, so I would think so, but I don't have a driver clean enough to not muck the screws, so I haven't checked it. f) 3K521xx g) 15-3 Thanks!
