well throw out some suggestions.. this is new to me.. lol once i remove the rear sight.. are there any considerations i need give to the height of the mount? most of the QR ones ive seen look low.. which is fine.. the front sight post will blur completely out? thanks

yeah what you said is what ive come to notice.. and it sucks.. is it that hard to make a non-ridiculous folding stock that actually works well...

the reason because i am very comfortable shooting it at short ranges with just the pistol grip.. but i have a rifle class coming up that im bringing a friend to, and would like to try it on the rifle range actually aiming at slightly further distances..

looking for high quality folding stock.. dont want to buy junk..

I am not sure what a "battle rifle" even is.. but i always just considered it a medium range combat type firearm... shy of something "long range" lacking the ability to make the kind of long range shots that a rifle chambered in something like the 308 is capable of..

a Saiga in 7.62x39 is that.. the factory fire control group is the same.. the only ones that are different are a) ones that have been converted and b) ones sold in places other than the US where properly configured AK style rifles are not frowned on.. so the parts you need should be ANY standard...

i understand.. when we convert them.. we end up with the FACTORY parts left over.. some people hang onto them.. others sell them.. i know several people with CONVERTED Saigas who would likely sell you ANY factory parts you need.. i just need to know EXACTLY what you need... just trying to help..

i live in the communist state of NJ which allows me to have an S12 but takes ALL the fun out of it with only the smallest magazine choices allowed, and im pretty sure you can not even have PG because its Semi auto.. so that bumps the 7.62x39 up to the top!
