    Any cool gun tips?

For the removal of tough leading from a bore, use a copper bore brush one size bigger. It will ruin the brush for it's intended caliber, but will still work for lead removal in the caliber you had trouble with the next time there is build up. Never try to convince your SO that they are doing it...

    Something to think ABOUT!

I also now have a pistol (actually 2) and a rifle in the same caliber. I just picked up a Cx4 in .40:) Now I am happy and can stop searching for a .357 rifle of my liking. I'm still looking for one, just going to be WAY more picky about it.

    Police: Gun accidentlly fired

I just want to know what happened to Jennings. At one point in history, a Jennings rifle was a mark of excellence one was proud to own, or was that a different Jennings all together?

    Question about pawnshops and cleaning

I would speak to the management and gauge the response. Then possibly notify the police. Suppose it was used in a crime. at the very very least, keep your pawn slip forever.

Lack of forethought + the wasting of money (when it comes to guns). Ever been there?

Yes, they certainly can get expensive! Got any pics?

    Research Question

Not sure, but 45mm is equal to 4.5cm, about the diameter of a 12guage shotgun? ETA: sorry, 12 gauge is 18.5166mm, 45mm is huge!

advice for a new pistol. Hi-point has to go...

I think you're on track with the .40, as it seems to be far more avail. during the current shortage. I personally prefer it for other reasons, but being able to find ammo sure does help the argument. I have a Beretta 90two in .40 and love it, but it is not very easily concealed and is in the...

Lack of forethought + the wasting of money (when it comes to guns). Ever been there?

I carry in the truck, and don't have to worry about the Canada thing. I'm not allowed there, DWI about 10 years ago. And no, I don't want to pay $700 every 2 years for a waiver, I'll just stay on this side of the line:) It does get to be a pain having to lock it up when I travel through certain...

Lack of forethought + the wasting of money (when it comes to guns). Ever been there?

So far this year, SAXD.45, Bersa.380, Ruger10/22, Mossberg500, SAXD sc.40, Rugersp101, Beretta Cx4.40, Nagant, another sks(this one is an "M", takes ak mags)...etc...I don't even know what I've spent on ammo and accessories for them. I guess it's all how you look at it. I see all of it as a...

What is the last gun that you bought?

In case you weren't sure, you're going to love the xd.45. Good trade for a glock.

Lack of forethought + the wasting of money (when it comes to guns). Ever been there?

And there lies the catch 22. I would also not even be able to feed them or have bought them in the first place.....Vicious cycle.....

Paying now for being a dumb kid?

Best overall advise I can give is leave the east coast, quickly! Don't dawdle around saying goodbye or packing, everything you have can be replaced when you get to a free state. There is nothing there worth saving. Besides when the big quake hits and Cali falls into the ocean it will cause a...

Lack of forethought + the wasting of money (when it comes to guns). Ever been there?

I bought a stupid laser for $150. It would have been a better deal if I had just flushed the money down the toilet. The gun won't holster w/laser on it, spent 250 rounds of .40 sighting it in ( unsuccessfully ), the way the on/off switch is positioned recoil randomly turns it on and...

Some thoughts on the .40 S&W

Indy cars run 4 cylinders. I'm perfectly happy with my 6s, one is a 4.6 liter(gm), and the one in my truck is 15 liters at 550 HP (caterpillar). I feel safe saying that my 6 cyl. has more torque than half a dozen of your 8 cylinders combined(1850 foot lbs at 1200 rpm). The same can be applied to...

Some thoughts on the .40 S&W

I think the .40 is my favorite of all calibers commonly available. I have a SAXD SC in .40, a Beretta 90-two in .40, and just yesterday purchased a Cx4 in .40 with all the panic buying, the .40 has been the most commonly avail. round and is actually returning to the shelves more rapidly and more...

    Just got a Cx4

Well, after over a year of searching for just the right .357 lever gun, about 3 months ago I finally put it on hold and decided the CX4 or the HiPoint carbine would fill the gap (until I find the right lever gun of course). Today while traveling from DC to St. Louis, I passed a Cabelas somewhere...

Which Gun Feels Like It Was Made For Your Hands ?

Beretta 90-Two feels best to me. But then again, I haven't held every option out there either......

How many decades guns can be considered safe to shoot....

I would guess round count has more to do with it than anything else. An older gun is more likely to have been fired more times, the more times it has been fired, the closer to the end of its life.....Each time you fire a gun you stress it a bit more and there is going to be a point at which it...
