Oh, sorry. I misread your post. Duh. When you said "That I could purchase" I was thinking you had the chance to get it but it had no manual.
I always thought those Thomas .45's were pretty neat. Do yourself a favor. If you haven't already, join a bunch of the larger forums. Like Glock Talk...
Lemme guess. Reading a lot of the SIG hate forums?
I too wonder why they offer some of the guns in some of the colors they choose and I've heard the complaints about tool marks, burrs and other imperfections. But the SIG 229 SCT 9mm I bought last year was flawless inside and out. And it has...
I cycle though these depending on my mood:
SIG 229 SCT 9mm

XD 45 w/thumb safety (service model)
Ruger P-90 (sorry, yet to take a pic of it)
S&W 610 10mm

The size of my pistols don't change during warmer weather. I just have to put more thought in what I wear to cover them...
Yeesh! Those are RARE! Good lack with that! And apologies for being no help whatoever!
If I were you I'd buy it regardless. I'm sure you would eventually find what you seek.
I dunno MIVS. The Coonan is infamous for getting incredible velocities from the .357 mag. People have handloaded 125 JHP's to fly at 1,800 fps out of their pistols. That's 898 foot pounds. So with handloading I would say it would have an edge over the 10. But then you're stuck with 7 round mags...
Clark barrel. Nice!
About the only things I'm doing to mine are sights, flat MSH and an extended thumb safety. Oh, and pinning the GS. As much as I love to carry 1911's I've never been a fan of the GS.
IMO, if the BHP doesn't need one then neither does the 1911.
I've put 250 rounds of ball and 40 rounds of my HP of choice and I've had no problems. The little thing is snappy but that's irrelevant. It disappears under a loose shirt in a bellyband. I wear it to work every day (for the past 19 months) and no one is the wiser.
It's also more accurate than a...
I've got a new Delta on layaway. Probably won't be able to get it until next month. Carried a blued one back in 95-96. Loved it. Even featured it in my Mtv News: Unfiltered segment on guns and gun safety.
Wish they were still making new blued ones but beggars can't be choosers. I'm grateful...
"And depending on what part of the body it hits, it could leave a .5 in pinhole he wouldn't even feel immediately. Energy is irrelevant, especially when there is so much that almost none of it is actually transferred to the target.
There have been MANY soldiers, friendly and enemy, who have...
I've examined one. Shot one. Pure junk. I'd feel better defended with a Hi-Point.
I would like to meet the brainchild of this pistol and bytch slap him. And I'm not a violent person.
I've already listed here but I'll do another.
A 9mm steel framed EMP but "Champion" sized (4" barrel) and no grip safety.
Since "good" Star BM's are difficult to find these days.... :(
a 125 grain at 1,450 fps duplicates .357 mag combat loads from a 4" revolver. The .357 mag has a LEGENDARY track record for dropping bad guys particularly the 125 grain JHP's.
But a round that emulates it (more or less) while doubling the capacity over a standard revolver is now somehow an...

He does incredible work at a very reasonable price. And sometimes when it comes to firearms I can get long winded when I get excited. But he's a gun guy too so he understands. Never felt he was trying to rush me off the phone at...
Well, there's the rub. I'm going to hold the pistol the way I hold all pistols because it's natural for me. To have to hold a pistol a certain way to keep from bleeding just doesn't cut it.
But I'm glad the 232 is perfect for you. I'm a bit envious. It's such a beautiful pistol. But it's a...
