    What is the point of having a rifle in a pistol caliber with a barrel that long? The powder is burned way before the muzzle. Seems to me speed and energy would be lost due to friction. At the very least, accuracy is not increased so why the extra weight and decreased handling?

    I started with an 1100. Less kick than an 870. I was 8 at the time and could shoot it all day.
