    Scrapping old/cracked/worn out brass?

Yes, I save & scrap the brass. Primer cups are brass too. CCIs are just nickel plated. Last load was $1.86/lb They used to pay closer to $4, but for some reason the price plummeted. As far as gasoline to get their, just wait till you have a bunch to make the trip worthwhile.

    Thinking about reloading shotshells

Primers for common shells are 209s. Its the wad that are different. Get a shot shell reloading manual. For now, buy a bunch of the same brand & size factory shells. Look in your new manual to see what wads you need & buy a bag. As far as a press goes, you can get a Lee Load-All they're pretty...

    Bullet Casting ideas

I just use a cast iron skillet for slag & another very small one for the sprues. The lead doesn't stick & the sprues gently slide back into the furnace

    Anyone load the 7.62 x 25 Tok?

Armor piercing depends on what bullet you load. And yes I reload them. Good brass is short enough that they don't need to be trimmed. But maybe eventually they will

anyone else think pythons were made to be shot

I have a nice collection of guns. All are made to be shot, with 1 exception. My FIL gave me a nice FIE 25 Auto. He's passed on now & my daughter said she'd like to have it when I pass. So I might shoot 20rds per year just to make sure it works for her

    Lymann 51st Edition Reloading Handbook

I don't hunt either, but to me, just doing the same load over & over would get monotonous & boring, and lead to paying less that full attention. Not that I'm saying anyone else would. But I know me. Besides I think its GREAT fun to switch powders & see what happens. I like accuracy & speed...
