I like the motion sensing flood light idea and have used it myself. It was a two flood light set up and I put a little 'flasher' about twice the thickness of a quarter and the diameter of a quarter in one light. The 'solid' light was aimed at the point the motion sensing device would go off...
Incredible improvement, you should be proud of your work. Also, your English is fine, as I have heard much worse from people born in the United States. Again, that is one FINE looking AK.
I have exactly the gun you purchased and have nothing but good to say about it. The crimson trace grips I do not have, but would love to. With those grips I am guessing you will have one super weapon. Congratulations.
chache, sort your brass and check length. You might be surprised how little difference, in each group, there is after it is sorted. I run .001 or .002 under max. Anything shorter, unless really outside the usual numbers, I normally leave as is. The weird stuff is tossed. Not worth the...
Quoheleth, I agree completely on the SP101 3". It is one hard to beat weapon, and with such a variety of ammunition available, it just is hard to go with anything else. Yes, I have one, among several other hand guns. The 101 is my favorite.
The cameras are an excellent idea. Make it obvious they are there and are real. Signs and fake cameras will not fool anyone that wants access to your property.
If and when the finances can work it out, look for this on the web.
SkyLink Security System Deluxe Kit SC-100
They are excellent systems. Wireless. Easy to install. YOU program them like you want them. Remote control key fob to arm, disarm, set off in emergency. The siren is one you never...
Stop doing anything for a little while and get yourself a good manual on reloading. Seriously. I did not mean that to sound like a mean remark. Once you have the manual, read it. Then read it again. If you can find someone that has experience (Years) of reloading, ask if you can look over...
I agree, you were lucky. You were unable to arm yourself and luck saved both of you. My bet is that the gun on the other side of the door was NOT deactivated and would have been used. Smart move getting out of a country that embraces this type of thing. NOW, if we can keep it from happening...
I have used corncob only with this type of brass and had excellent luck even after many tumblings. If you have a 'conditioner' in the corncob it takes an hour or two to get the job done quite well.
Thanks. In SD it is exactly as I remember it was. A ballistic knife is illegal. If I can figure how to get one to fire through my 30.06 I will be illegal. Until then I am OK>)
You said the important words: correct firearms tactics. Yes, a 9mm would 'outgun' untrained AK 47 user in a heartbeat. That is why you will see hundreds of posts repeating 'training' and then practicing the things you learned. I see you are new to the forum. Glad to have you aboard. You...
If you look at combination safes, Sargent and Greenleaf make some of the most secure locks out there. The military is very fond of their quality and they show up at some very secure facilities.
Frangible rounds that break up when hitting a wall or anything really solid are a great idea. They penetrate when hitting soft things like flesh and then break apart violently. More and more are showing up. Take a look, do your homework. Apartments are a hard thing to guard. These rounds in...
Is there any such thing as a good goose? Silly question.
YES.
I like the bacon idea, losing the skin. Wet and slow cooking with a couple of chopped onions in the body cavity will do wonders. And YES you need to keep an eye on it for grease draining off. Dump it and keep going until the...
first things first
FIRST she should call her insurance carrier and see that she has a minimum of $1 million in liability. (no, that is not a smart A** answer, I mean it._) Once she is sure of that, she can 'hurt' someone with a concealed .25 (But not kill them) and her insurance will cover...
