    OD Green Glocks

I concur. Glock's OD is the best looking of all the other polymer framed OD pistols out there, IMO. I have an OD G36 and will be looking to add an OD G19, hopefully sooner than later.

    My .45 conundrum - Glock 30SF vs. 36 vs. 38

I carry a 36 with a +1 extension on my spare mag. I think 14 rounds of Hornady 200gr XTP is sufficient. Also, the 36 replaced my all steel Officer size 1911, so I was already used to a lower round count. The weight loss was amazing.

Springfield Armory 1911 Loaded in .45 acp

I never use steel cased ammo for any of my semi-autos. I use it in my AK, though.:D

    9MM Summer Carry

I voted G26. I don't have one, but I have a G36 that I bought for summer carry because I didn't like my metal framed pistols touching my bare spare tire on a hot summer day. The G36 is now the pistol that I carry most often. I had always been a die hard all metal pistol guy prior. I drank the...

    Double guns

I have an older E.R. Amantino "imported by Stoeger" Uplander 12ga and I love it. It's one of my favorite guns to shoot, best bang for the buck, so to speak. In fact, I'm looking to buy a SxS .410 and it most likely will be a Stoeger.

    Which hi-power?

Your description of the Browning's finish sounds like it's a MKII made from '82 to '87 or so. I'd take the Browning for $550 with no problem. Also, if you get serial# on the Browning you can find out it's date of manufacture here, http://www.browning.com/customerservice/dategun/detail.asp?id=35

Decision Time! And I need your help - 870P vs. Ithaca M37 Defense.

The M37 is a proven design and since I'm a southpaw, I would choose it because of its bottom ejection. I love my bottom eject Stevens 350.

    Bersa .380. Not bad.

I've had my 380CC for about 2 1/2 years and have never had a single issue with it, other than a grip screw coming loose. It's every bit as reliable as my Beretta 84 or my BHP laying next to it.

Ok....Why Do People Carry Without One In the Chamber..?

I didn't realize that there's another way to carry, unchambered. :neener:

I use the same powder as Cowboy2 for my T/C Hawken .50 also. But, I use a cleaning method prescribed by Joe Hepsworth.

My first 1911: Comparison photos with my CZ 75B

I have a Mil-Spec and I love it. But, I must say, I couldn't take my eyes off that CZ, very nice.

what do you think about the Bersa Thunder 380

I have the 380CC, never had an issue with it in 2 years as one of my CC guns.

    AR/M4 Junkies HELP!

Being a lefty myself, I have Stag 2L upper on a RRA lower. So I'd say get a Stag. It's great to be able to shoot a semi-auto and not see the ejected brass in front of your face.

    Birthday Rifle

I have to agree with judodude, Mini-14. Because, it sounds like you're looking for an autoloader and a used Mini-14 is within your price range. It's a very reliable rifle and fun to shoot. It's too bad you don't live in Ohio, I'd sell you mine. I've rarely shot it since I bought an AR.

.380: Which would be a nice carry gun?

I love my Beretta 84, but would never carry it, it's too purdy. I've had it since 1982 and it looks NIB. Instead, I carry a Bersa 380CC. It shoots anything I feed it and if it gets nicked up, it won't matter. I payed $220 plus tax for it, used. Recoil is on par with my 9mm BHP.

S/A Ultra Compact is one of my carry weapons.
