One box I fired last range trip had an old paper tag inside it that said"B1". That was all I could make out. Went back in my book and found out it was almost 20yrs.old. They all went bang and according to my book had been loaded 8 times.
Finally after "who knows how long" I went to the range. Took my model 10 Smith, Mark4 target Ruger, and G3C Taurus. As expected the Smith and Ruger shot great the "other one" I need a lot of practice.
I don't see anything wrong with those crimps. My eyes are not as good as they used to be.I'd shoot "em" and see if I was satisfied with the way they performed.
When I inquired about buying Ruger stock,my "financial advisor " asked "who are they". When I replied and explained what they did she was a little hesitant but I bought 50 shares. I still have them and since then she commented " wish I had thought of that"
I started reloading with a Lyman T-Mag. Later caught a "sale" and bought a Lyman "Crusher" (ss) that I use mostly for rifle ammo. Been happy with both. I never wanted a progressive (too much going on at once). You pay your money and take your choice. Get what's best for you.
Not too many reloaders in my neck of the woods. But back when I started this "madness" a trip to the public range would net a bunch of .38 and .357 brass. Not so anymore I don't remember when I saw a piece of either lying around loose.
