I had a similar issue, found a post to use small file and lightly smooth edges not round just free of burrs and leave outer tube around primer tube loose, no oil on the parts.
The 1911 doesn't do to much more than your 38 only holds 2-3 more rounds, weighs twice as much, twice as big, bullets a lot slower, but bigger that's a plus, the 1911's seem to be a little more picky on what ammo you use, if you want more ammo capacity and larger round and better reliability...
does anybody have load data for 40 S&W 165g JHP with unique can't find it, usually load 180 LFN with 5.4g but can't find the load in unique anywhere can find it for 180,150?
most likely you will draw more attention than you like around campus but Preachnhunt mentioned Court Days in Mt. Sterling, Ky. in October if you like guns this is something you don't want to miss but you really should have started saving money last November for it.
