hello.. im in the markett for a 20 gauge shot gun, im interested in a gas operated action.looking for soft recoil. i dont have a whole lot of money to spend. the shotgun will be used for quail and squirrel hunting. and around the farm. 2.75 shells is probly all i'll ever shoot 7 and halfs...

oh, yes... get the 20'' barrel. 1/7 twist is perfectly fine. my A4 loves xm193 ball ammo. 20 inch rifles, the only way to fly :) peabody

i've shot a few deer with the winchester 64 grain power points , with my old M16A1 clone' they work great. couldn't tell if it had been hit with a .223 or a 30-06. one doe hit in front blew out heart lungs and still took out half the ribs. left a hole on exit you could almost putt your fist...

marlin model 60. a blast from the past. :) i picked one up a few years ago' in a pawn shop, in hayti missouri. it was so gummed up n' filthy it wouldn't even let the bolt all the way back. gave 15 ? 20 ? dollars for it. took it home, and took brake cleaner and either to it. flushed it out...

for hunting , i've used the winchester 64 grain power points. for deer they are fantastic. nosler 60 grain'er partitions are also great. they both will kill anything on the planet. if you reload.? barns 70 tsx's solid copper , but must have a fast twist barrel, my 1-7 twist loves em. peabody

i like carry handle scopes' works great for me. nothing better than an ol' slickside with a carry handle scope ! and yes' i DO want one of those acog's ... :)

i used a trimmed down cmmg barrel, 16'' with the gas port moved to mid-length, a low pro gas block, under the guards. and a A.R.M.S model 41-B for a front sight. using a cutt off gas tube to index the triangle cap. flattop with a cnc A1 carry handle, and SX same plane rear sight. its turning...

i have a old sears 16ga single barrel, shotgun...[its a winchester] great gun.

build yourself an UNDERHAMMER. only two moving parts. free floating barrel, mines a .62 caliber, 1x72 twist. three set screws hold the barrel, super eazy to clean. these new inlines have NOTHINGS on a underhammer, underhammers are direct ignition . not bad for a 200 ? 300 year old...

you can build one for under 400 dollars, just buy used parts n' pieces. i did. peabody
