I have a Kimber Gold Match which I've had for 10 years. It works every time and is very accurate. Seems to digest anything I put through it, although, I primarily shoot 230 grain ball ammo. I think you can get a good 1911 for less money, but Kimber makes a very good pistol.

I recently purchased a 12 inch .44 magnum barrel for my TC Encore. I have a couple hundred .429" 240 grain cast bullets which i'd like to load using available Unique powder. I'd appreciate recommendations for a good deer hunting starting and maximum loads using these bullets and powder...
