i have bought several guns through davidsons over the years. Never a problem or a debate regarding customer service. I had one of the infamous Ruger P-97's that had the slide lock problem. Brought it back to the dealer and within 48 hours had a brand new gun. Purchased a Glock 27 from a gun...
Probably A cop in his take home car who also went to the gun show after work and perhaps picked up a friend on the way. We like going to gun shows too :)
Based on Krusty the Clown's quote, I thought the episode was more pro.
"Hey, yutz! Guns aren't toys! They're for family protection, hunting dangerous or delicious animals, and keeping the king of England out of your face."
I am a sworn officer and support the right to carry for all who have not been convicted of violent crime or have been found to be mentally incompetent.
Having said that, I carry off duty. I carry off duty not because I'm a special person superman looking to fight crime and corruption 24/7...
Still issuing high gloss clarino leather for class A uniform, Class B gets you the cordura stuff. I'm wear both uniforms depending on assignment so I get the best of both worlds. I prefer the cordura. Much more comfortable to wear all day long.
Where is the new store located in Chesapeake? I need a new pair of shoes and I don't pay too much attention to those signs. If they ask me to leave, assuming they have X-ray vision and can see my concealed weapon, I'll leave.
Does anyone have the telephone number to follow up on status of application. They took my money on 2/10/07 and I am still checking the mailbox on a daily basis.
Considering sending in the paperwork for a C&R type FFL. Can a C&R FFL ship guns through US mail the same as a a type 01 FFL or are they still restricted to UPS/Fedex overnight shipping?
Thanx in advance,
Sleepy
I always carry OC/CE and my glock 27 or S&W 38spl snubby wherever I go, anywhere I go. I have used OC many times and most of the experienced bad guys know what it is as soon as you casually take it out and start shaking it as they approach you. They change they're mind quickly and walk away, if...
I used to live in Tucson as you can see from my screen name. Is this the same owners as the Marksman on 29th st. ? I used to shoot there all the time. Those guys pretty much taught me how to shoot when I took my CCW class there. I became a member and went every weekend without fail. Sure...
I carry my .40 glocks and/or my S&W 36-9 at work and off duty, but at home my primary HD guns are the Mossberg 590 w/ 00 Buck, Ruger p-95 with 124 +p GDs and the S&W 686-4 with 158g 38spl +p lswhp strategically located throughout the house. My wife and sons are trained in their use and quite...
Growing up in NYC, with a very liberal Mom and "yes dear" Father, I had little knowledge of firearms. I had an uncle who let me shoot his BB rifle and then finally got to shoot a 22 with snake shot at clay pidgeons in BoyScout camp. At 18 a friend enlisted in the coast gurad, became a...
Although my Glock 27 is my main off duty/bug, I often carry my old model 36 snubby 38spl with +P federal SWHPs. I don't feel undergunned with it. It is the easiest grab and go gun I own except for the NAA 22magnum revolver I carry as a second BUG for up close and personal grapling. For an...
Doug Grier knows his stuff. He is retired Philly PD range officer and was responsible for putting glocks in the hands of many East coast PDs and Sheriiff's offices. I met him when he taught the armorer's course several years ago. If anyone has chance of marketing a new product to LEAs, he's...
My employer dictates what rounds and firearms we carry on and off duty. The selection is 9mm or 38 special. So a glock 19 on duty, glock 26 off duty or my S&W model 36. With +p ammo offerings I'm ok with these two allowed loads, although I would prefer they let me carry .40 or.45
When off duty, I wear a badge in front of my gun on my strong side. I carry a flat badge in a badge wallet with my sworn picture ID (**** is a sworn officer in the commonwealth of VA and is authorized to .. etc..) and we are issued a second picture ID to wear in any of the LEA buildings, courts...
