I carry my Hi-Power under my motorcycle jacket in a Galco shoulder rig: Explorer Vertical Holster, SS2 shoulder straps and double ammo pouch. A bit pricey, but it's served me well.

If you remove the magazine disconnect, regular mags (none of that mousetrap stuff) will drop free. Removal of the magazine disconnect also dramatically improves the trigger pull. It's still a rather long pull, but removes the gritty feeling.

lol, steveno, I guarantee the first thing a smith will try is hammering the pin out. It won't hurt anything, cept maybe the pin you are getting rid of =P

I've had a browning HP practical (the two tone style) for about 10 months. It's been my daily CCW, without any trouble. Been 100% reliable. No noticable wear other than the rails. Only complaints: I get a bit of hammer bite sometimes, and it doesn't come in 10mm ;)

Perhaps giving their pistols more memorable names would help.

It's easy to see why people would believe it's so difficult to buy a gun legally. So many movies and TV shows mention gun registration, as if there is a registry of every gun and gun owner.

Hi-powers usually come with 13 round mags, but 15 round mags(from mecgar) fit flush and work fine. Removing the magazine disconnect, to get a better trigger and drop free mags, is easy. All you need is a punch and hammer.
