    Scout mounts There is a gentleman that manufactures scout mounts that don't alter the rifle and are solid as a rock. I think you will find his link on the Parallax Curio and Relic Forums. Darrells Scout Mounts is the name....he makes them for most milsurps.

    New Sig!

    Sig 220 Let me know how it shoots....I just shot my friends new Sig and it shot 12 inches low at 25 feet !. Three of us all had the same result....do they have adjustable sights for this model ? :banghead:

    Does anyone know if Marlins were issued to the military ? From the 1880's to present...What about the soldiers during the Indian wars? Maybe I've seen too many cowboy movies......

    Was it a 30-40 Krag?

    I was just watching 77 Sunset Strip on the Goodlife TV Network.... they were using what I thought to be a Krag but the bolt handle was swept back and had a flat upper surface. The cartridge chamber is pretty destinctive but the bolt made me wonder. Anybody have an idea what it could have been?

    Thanks !! I have Brownells catalog so that's a start...I'll look for that book and a good set of gunsmithing screwdrivers....isn't this great...I can spend some more money, phew...I thought I might have to stop:D :D

    Help with Ruger P91DC

    I've had this puppy for a while but have shot it very little. I would like to thoroughly clean it but can't remove the slide pin(?). I've had 1911's and this looks to disassemble the same way, but doesn't....am I holding my mouth right? Seems to work with other stuff !!!:D

    Shooting the 45-70 I've had the opportunity and it is a handful...It was one of those Isreali shoot em thingys...wow...5 rounds and then I rested....for the month !

    I just signed on and already like what I see.... The only area I haven't dabbled in yet is gunsmithing.I do minor repairs but nothing more.Is there an organization i should join that will help in my learning curve? I own mostly milsurps but just acquired an 1889 Marlin in 38-40...it needs...
