    Big bore revolvers

Single action, I like my Blackhawk 45acp/45 Colt convertible. Double action, I really like my S&W Model 69. It's a nice 5-shot L Frame. I load and shoot either .44 specials or mid-range magnum loads.

    Ruger SP101 .357 2" Barrel w/ .357 - Velocity question

I have not tried the 125 gr. Buffalo Bore, but I would suspect the muzzle energy in the .357 to fall off precipitously once barrel length goes below 4”. See the Ballistics by the Inch graph here: http://www.ballisticsbytheinch.com/megraphs/357mag.html 6” barrel = around 800 ft-lbs energy for...

Thinking of Getting Into 38 Special

Welcome to the revolver world!! Your revolver does not eject 6 feet away, back and to the right. It ejects straight down into either your palm or easy to retrieve piles o' brass ;) Your back will soon thank you! Reloading for the .38 Special is what got me through the .22LR shortage. Now...

Great buy, Trent. Yes, that transition from pistol to revolver can be a bit frustrating at first. But in the end, what you master from your revolver experience will make you a better pistol shooter. I'll pass along some advice given to me from a wheel gun man from many years ago: Really...

    Best Self Defense 1911?

+1 this ^^^. My 1/50th of a dollar: I think with using a 1911 as an everyday carry, KISS is the best principle. A pistol so rattly that it practically field strips itself if you shake it long enough will eat virtually anything you feed it under almost any condition of cleanliness. A...

    Glock 30sf questions.

I don't see why not.... I own both the 30sf and the 26. I've got close to 5000 rounds through the 26 with no problems. I have found the Glocks to be tough and reliable.
