You should be able to check the headspace with the extractor installed - most gages have a cut-out for the extractor - does yours?

Been out of shooting for a while, need a place to shot that does not cost anything. I use to go to Black's Creek road -- but it turns out that was private land after all -- I saw on the news that the land was now closed to shooting. Anyone know a place? Thanks.
