This is the second 10/22 takedown that I have owned. The first one was the original model with the stainless barrel but when I saw this model with the stainless threaded barrel I had to have it. I have had it for a couple weeks now and have fired a couple hundred rounds of bulk ammo through it...
I am going to get one. I just can't decide which one. I have plenty of ammo for all 3
Ruger 77/357... Not convinced on the accuracy and worried it might not be overly reliable.
Mini14... Had one before wish I didn't get rid of it. Not legal to hunt deer with it in VA but can in NC. Mostly use...
I owned a Marlin94 357 but it just wouldn't cycle reliably. I have since wanted a 77/357 and can't seem to get it out of my head. Please talk me out of this rifle.
My fiance just bought me one of these for my birthday and I love it. I work in a business where carrying a normal size gun isnt always an option so i was very happy for this gift. I am just trying to figure out how everyone carrys these things. Do you just drop them in a pocket? Carry them in a...
I have both an SP101 3" in 357 and an LCR in 357. The LCR used to be my primary carry but now it's mostly the LCR. Backwoods leather in Portsmouth makes some awesome holsters for the SP101. That plus a good belt and you'll forget it's on.
According to guns and ammo tv the smiths, and colts are more desirable due to their precision, aesthetics, and fine triggers. Neither of them will go head to head as far as round count goes with a Ruger. Rugers are tanks :)
I own both a GP100 and SP101. I've shot many smiths and a Dan Wesson my dad has. The rugers are the only ones I really like but that's because I like durability over all else. The rugers are tanks and plenty accurate. More accurate than I am. I've taken dove with it at distances past 25 yards...
Yep Glock 22 although it was quickly replaced as a carry gun by a Glock 27 that I no longer have. Then a keltec P3AT no longer have. Then a keltec PF9, no longer have. Back to the P3AT, got rid of it again. Then a SP101 that I still Cary but now it's mostly a LCR
