    CCW for Big Guys...Reccomendations?

Yes, I do tilt the HK, even though my holster isn't designed for it. The tilt makes the draw smoother and easier, and it turns the weapon just right so that it looses itself is the cavity of the small of your back. It is a lot of weight back there, so make sure you have a good belt, or you'll...

whats so special about the HK P7?

The P7 is definitely and interesting gun. I would love to have a P7M13 or even an M8. I don't think I would bother with the A models and the odd magazine release. I've fired my friend's P7M8 and it is a sweet pistol. I've always been an HK fan, so I'm probably biased. But even so, I wouldn't...

    Comfort and accuracy...

My buddy has a PPK and I've shot it several time. You're right about its abuse of the shooter, particularly if you've got big hands. An accurate CCW .45?

I feel your pain, Victor. Me and the Glocks have never been friends. It seems to me that the trigger on the Glocks is different than I'm used to - which could probably be overcome with training. And I know the grip angle is all wrong for me. Chances are that if you could just pick up an...

    CCW for Big Guys...Reccomendations?

I agree with David. I'm 5'7" and more portly than you, and my regular concealed carry is a full size HK USP .45. The trick is in the placement and what clothes you wear. I almost always carry inside the waste band at the small of my back. All you need is a good thin holster, a good belt, and a...
