I just ordered a few Chip McCormick 10rd SS mags. When they came I noticed the followers have a propensity for wanting to shift forward and in fact one move too far forward and the entire follower and spring came out. Anyone else have any of these problems or is it designed like this for a reason?

If you want wood or laminate stock, I would look at Savage. Otherwise I would def. go with a Remington 700p (26inch barrell), it is probably the best all around .308 for the price IMO.
