    Powder dippers?

When using Unique I sometimes drop the charge from the measure into a dipper and then from the dipper to the case. Gives me an extra visual as to how the measure is dispensing. I weigh about 1 out of 10 because I'm not in a hurry and don't reload often. Seems like the dippers are fairly accurate...

    Portable reloading ... pictures please

Because it puts the pivot perpendicular to the table top and I can feed it from the left side easier. Just more comfortable for me to reach the shell holder and ram at that position.

    Portable reloading ... pictures please

I used some scrap from old countertops stored in the basement and assembled it with deck screws. It's stout and portable. If it's similar to what you have in mind, a cabinet shop would probably donate some material.

    Kydex or plastic stiffened belts

Interesting. I have only used single ply 1.5" belts but they are stiff and work well for me. I would guess any dual ply belt wheather 2 layers of leather or with plastic sandwiched between layers, would last longer if never bent past 90 degrees. The dual layers might bend at different arcs and...

    Kydex or plastic stiffened belts

Thanks for the responses. I have not seen any of these belts other than in photos but it's probably logical to stop the stiffener short of the punched section. From the photos of the 511 belt, it looks like the leather passes pretty straight through the channel in the front of the buckle without...

    Kydex or plastic stiffened belts

It seems that from reviews, the 2-ply leather belts without sandwiched stiffeners are preferred. I wonder if the cheaper kydex stiffened belts such as those from Looper or 511 have problems with the inner stiffener breaking from flexing at the point of contact with buckle tongue and frame. I...

    AMT 380 Backup. Good Deal?

I apparantly got in on the lucky 50%. Got one of the first ones to come out and had it for many years. Not an EDC but I've shot it a moderate amount, only with FMJ's and silvertips. Never a malfunction or FTF. It has worked well in adverse conditions (thrown out of a canoe while in a fanny pack)...

+1 on the deer hunters. Can't keep deer out of the yard and they consume all our day lillies and ivy. They grab day lillies as soon as they bud.

Free Knife Cleaning Cloth! and now the results of those who got one.

Received the sheepskin kit today. It's cold and wet outside so I put it to use right away. Used it on blue, parkarized and stainless steel pieces and it did a remarkable job on all of them. I think this item is a must have for any cleaning kit and it beats anything I've used previously.
