-Another- Taurus Millennium/Millennium Pro question for OWNERS

Yeah the rounded cut will be just like a rounded corner.

-Another- Taurus Millennium/Millennium Pro question for OWNERS

We're talking about where the slide top and sides meet.

-Another- Taurus Millennium/Millennium Pro question for OWNERS

The difference between rounded and serpentine is that the serpentine cut has kind of a "shelf" where it meets the side of the slide. I have a 3rd gen PT140. No idea when it was made, but the 2nd letter of the serial number is Z. Serpentine cut, stainless slide, no rail. Slide has "Millenium"...

elprofeloco is right. Heinie recently started offering night sights for the Taurus Millenium Pros. I've heard they run somewhere around $125. http://www.heinie.com/taurus.php

    Miami Vice TV show

http://www.thegunzone.com/software/zubiena.html I saw a thread on here awhile back about that scene. The guy is a pro. Jim Zubiena is his name.

I've Narrowed It Down To Two .22 Plinkers

I have a Buckmark Micro. To me it has better ergos than a Ruger. The Rugers do feel more sturdy though. I flipped the sear spring over and bent it a little (per rimfirecentral.com) and it improved the already good stock trigger 100%.

Yet more insight from the idiot that illegally bulldozed the runway at Meigs.

Saw a Saiga 12 in action this weekend

I have one of the 2-round mags just in case I decide to go bird hunting. They are hard to find. You can also plug a 5-rounder. A member on the S-12 forums makes a steel wire insert to limit the capacity to 2 rounds.

Saw a Saiga 12 in action this weekend

Yeah I imagine there are better choices than a Saiga for clays or birds as the longest bbl Saiga 12 I know of is 24". Not all S-12s are threaded, but the ones that are have external threads. Supposedly Polychoke is thinking about making some chokes for the S-12 factory threads. I don't know...

    Browning Buck Mark Pistols

johnnyc, Forgot to mention I did shoot a box of Dynapoint. For the first 400 rds of dynapoint the only malfs I had were occasional FTE. The last 100 rds however I had a few FTE and FTF. The accuracy of the first 400 rds was very good and very consistent though. I bought it at K-mart for...

    Shortened buttstock for 870 HD?

I had the Hogue overmolded 12" LOP stock on my old 870. I have short arms and the fit was perfect for me.

    Browning Buck Mark Pistols

I'm using a Buckmark micro std 4" for Bullseye (yeah bbl is a little short) and accuracy is great. Trigger is excellent. A longer sight radius would definitely help for the longer shots. As posted above any .22 semiauto pistol will probably jam at some point or another with cheap bulk ammo or...

Saw a Saiga 12 in action this weekend

This vid should put to rest the thought that the S-12 is slow. He posts on the S-12 forums and is from Finland. He is not bumpfiring and the gun is not full auto. http://users.tkk.fi/~stnurmi/PJ_saiga_01.mpg I sold my 870 Express (still kicking myself for that one) to fund my S-12. If...

    Armed Trucker? really? where?

Good thread. I've always wanted to get my CDL-A and my friend who is an O/O wants to teach me. I've been wondering if I could legally carry in the truck with a valid CPL. Looks like I shouldn't have any issues if I follow each respective state's laws.

    Many balisong/butterfly fans on THR?

I remember seeing a lot of balisongs in bad '80s Filipino movies. My first balisong was a hair comb. I learned how to flip with it. My uncle has a balisong with double-edge blade. That was interesting. I didn't do much flipping with that one. I bought a cheap real one when I...

    Browning Buckmark Or Ruger MKII

I vote Buckmark. Hangar Pilot, I thought I got a good deal on mine last week, but you have me beat. I picked up a new BM Micro Standard at Gander Mtn for $249. I will probably end up throwing a Tactical Solutions 7.25" bbl on it sometime. I think both are great guns, but the Buckmark just...

New Saiga-12 Owners - Important News

I don't think _N4Z_ was saying the topic was irrelevant. I think he was saying his question to the poster is off topic. I am hoping to get an S-12 if and when the next shipment comes. I hope this situation doesn't screw it all up. I wonder what the current buyers will have to do now...

    What was your first gun?

My uncle took me shooting when I was 11. I don't remember exactly what gun it was, but I know it was a 9mm semi-auto pistol. I bought myself an air pistol and a couple air rifles after I turned 16 and would shoot in the garage. I didn't shoot a real rifle for the first time until I was 19 or...

Why doesn't anyone make Hi-Cap mags for the Saiga .308?

I do use TurboTax :), but I haven't gotten my W2s yet. If I get lucky and have extra money before I get my tax return then I'll jump on an S-12 if you'll have any left.
