Thanks. I already have a full sized soddy...I just like the way the blue handle looks. I use my black one in the kitchen all the time. In fact I made homefries with it last night. It's a great slicer...potatoes,onions, steak, whatever you throw at it.

How much was the Khnutbuster? I know Kerry's waiting list is years long but I'm wondering what he charges.

Hey Gumby, I too don't care for the blade etching. I scrubbed my blade with Bar Keepers Friend (a stainless steel cleaner) and the etching is now very faint.

    Glock 26 or Ruger Sp101

If I could do it over I would get a S&W model 60 instead of the Ruger.

    Glock 26 or Ruger Sp101

I own both and I have never even considered carrying the Ruger. I LOVE my G26. I am far more accurate with it than my Ruger Sp101 or even my full sized Sig and it is so easy to carry.

    Door to door salesmen

My door, like my phone, is there for MY convenience. I don't answer the phone when it's a sales call and I ignore anyone that I don't know who is knocking at my door. When I used to respond to salesmen, fundraisers, and their ilk it was always a waste of my time so I know I'm not missing...

I joined this forum because of this topic. I have been collecting knives since about 1972. Except for SAKs I haven't bought a slipjoint since probably 1983. I have dozens of knives from Buck, Gerber, Case, Spyderco, Al Mar, Strider, Benchmade, Emerson etc. Until recently I never really...
