I'm a big fan of the birdshead grips. On either the colt thunderer or the ruger vaquero and single six's. The 32 mags are so nice with that grip setup and so much fun to shoot. I'm sad they discontinued them, as I'd love to have a pair, but there are still some new ones floating around on gunbroker.

I used to own a model 3, and after a short while I grew to hate the grip angle. I sold it after 2 trips to the range. Then I fired a friends model 3 russian a few months ago, and found the grip angle to be much nicer, and much more comfortable for me. I fired it using and not using the trigger...
