I purchased several oakley parts in the past months and use them for all kinds of competition shooting. As result of my personal experience one very important notice: -> try the vented glasses for shooting there is a much better air circulation in the vented than in the non-vented lenses...

    No more guns for me...

congrats on your upcoming new family member ... if you don't give up your hobby, just make a break, everyone would call it NORMAL. I do so in the same way, not because of children or financial situation, but in times I need a break. there is more fun and a quite good feeling, when you...

Does anyone compete with a compact?

several competitions offer stock gun class or out of the box divisions. e.g. the bianchi cup needs to load only six rds in a magazine (therefor you will need a lot), for the PPC course you need six rds in a magazine too. don't be shy and compete ! I do not know about the IDPA as we are...

    Nill grips on S&W 617's...

I use Nill grips on my PPC - 686 and I really love them ! There is one more I sometimes try on a 617, but it is for one-handed shooting only and does not give me a very good feeling one everyday usage. For me it is a little easier to get the Nills as they have their main plant over...

    Cleaning question

my gunsmith has special brushes for use in the cylinder - he tells everyone purchasing one NEVER to use it within the bore. it must be made of something stronger than bronze and works very well (I shot a lot of wadcutter-stuff, so the cylinder needs heavy care). see attachment !
