i had the same thing happen to my vaquero. when i dissasembled it i found that the plunger in the hammer was sheared in two and the spring inside the hammer was all bent up.
hey guys, i learned alot from reading this thread. i'm on the verge of ordering the Pietta Model 1851 Confederate Navy .44 Caliber Revolver and the Pedersoli Colt Pattern Powder Flask from cabelas.
quick question, how do i know which size .44 ball to buy? cabelas list 3 different 44s...
he said that the auto-index would sometimes not index and he would pump the handle to unjam it, which would cause the case to tap the powder feed causing it to charge.
the powder used was win231. when i load i use 700x so if i was to accidentally doublecharge, it would overflow out of the case because it's flake powder. 231 is more like sand.
if you handload, please pay attention to what you're doing. here's a vid i made:

these weren't my guns btw. the kimber belongs to a friend of mine and the glock belongs to his dad.
that's good to know. i didn't do any research on if other people had the same results. that could be the very reason why kahr requires a 200rd break-in period.
i went to yolo to do the 200rd break-in process for my new kahr CW9. i wanted to "1-up" it and do a 300rd break-in instead. here's my observations:
size: exact size as an LC9/PF9. just picture any subcompact gun and make it 1/2 skinnier. i have medium sized hands so i was able to get all...
i made another video. this time it's my 1911 jamming like crazy from cheapy magazines. you get what you pay for. i payed $8/mag. enjoy!
