I own multiple handguns, 4 of which can be carried privately. I stick to mainly my 442 .38 special revolver. I trust it. Each handgun I own has to serve a purpose beyond range use. All of them have been rewarding to utilize.

I stopped neck sizing a few years ago. In my notes from when I did neck size my .308, I would full size them every 4th loading.

I had a worse spread than you listed. I called Lee and they warranties/upgraded for me. Unique shoots great and looks like death, but I’ve never had good look with metering it.

I’m not sure how the Dillion primer pocket tool works. But I’ll throw out the Lee de-burring tool has done wonders for me. I believe they can be purchased for under 5 dollars and hooked to a drill if you have one. Check it out, it may or may not help your situation. Reloading is learned...

Yes it looks like you need to go deeper. As always, start below maximum charge and work up.

Did the data apply to that exact bullet? Also in some instances if I set depth to the the crimping groove the OAL measures shorter than the suggested minimum OAL even when the data list the exact bullet I use. I always set to the crimping groove or cannelure. If I’m concerned about it being too...

I’ve heard some tremendous ideas. I too would love a bolt action carbine that shoots 9 or .38s. I do wish there were more rifle and shotgun double barrels. Say a 20 gauge under a 30/06.

I keep a notebook with dates and info. I’ll write load details and anything I noticed. Sometimes I’ll go back and note chronograph results along with anything else noticed after shooting. I also now throw in the load details on printed off sheets into the container used to store the rounds.

Ruger has a detail strip video on the web sight for the GP. I used it with success.

Have you soaked it? Also I had a similar issue on my 870, lots of wd-40 and elbow grease made it go away. I tried several oils, but wd40 got it done for me.

My federal brass has given my excellent results when loading .308s. I’ve had it last over ten loadings. I save it in a special pile, when I sort through range brass.

I don’t know why, but I tend to shoot .40s better than I do other guns. I quit being surprised by it a while ago. They just work for me.

I’ve never been able to meter Unique well. I’ve never tried reach peak velocities with Bullsye but it has never failed me and given me lots of accurate rounds. It just works. And it’s easy to use. My .38 planking load has become my small game Load thanks to Bullsye.

Mine got so sticky it would barely cycle. I thought a reload swelled up the cylinder it. I detailed stripped it and found a tiny piece of sticky lead under the star. At the time I was shooting lots of .38s. I had to look and look for it. What are you loads?
